Electric Moke

Welcome aboard your Electric Moke! Please take a moment to read this guide so you can enjoy a chic, silent ride around Cap Ferret safely and to the fullest.

1. How to start the vehicle

Check that the charging cable is unplugged and the charging port is properly closed.
Sit behind the wheel, fasten your seatbelt and press the brake pedal.
Insert the ignition key and turn it to the right to turn on the vehicle.
The dashboard lights up and the green "READY" or "OK" indicator appears.
Release the handbrake located between the two front seats.
Select D (Drive) to move forward or R (Reverse) to back up.
Gently release the brake pedal and accelerate progressively to drive off in complete silence.

2. Range & Charging

The Moke has a real-world range of about 90 km. Plan for 75 km maximum during your rental to avoid running out of charge.

Your driving area is restricted to the town of Lège-Cap-Ferret only.

If a breakdown occurs because you did not monitor the battery percentage, towing will be charged at €200.

Turn off the ignition (key to OFF) and remove the key before any handling.
Open the charging port located on the vehicle.
Plug the supplied charging cord into a standard household outlet (220V).
Then connect the other end to the Moke's charging connector.
A full charge takes about 4 hours on any standard outlet.

Important: Only use the cable supplied with the vehicle. Make sure the wall outlet is in good condition and free of defects.

3. Managing the top

To fully enjoy the open air or protect yourself from the wind:

The soft side panels can be detached using the zips and snap buttons.
Roll up the panels carefully to avoid scratching the soft windows, and secure them up high using the provided straps.
To fully remove the top, undo the fastenings on the roll bar (it is recommended to do this with two people).

Note: Remember to put the covers back on or close the panels when leaving the vehicle parked near the beach, to prevent sand and wind from getting into the cabin.

4. Driving Tips & Safety

Pedestrians and cyclists: With no engine noise, other road users may not hear you coming. Be especially careful near bike paths and pedestrian areas.
Locking trunk: Use the locking trunk at the rear to store your beach bags and valuables during your stops.
Braking: As soon as you release the accelerator, the Moke slows down thanks to regenerative braking, which recharges the battery and saves on brake wear.
